I truly enjoyed my stay here driven by the fantastic access to Dinton Park & Philipps House just a few steps away.
The external building decor is tired, and the immediate surroundings are messy and cluttered.

Comfortable room with a large bed, but the outside area needed tidying up. Enjoyed the delicious food too.

the staff were super friendly, especially peter at the bar who was really helpful. the room was spacious and comfy, and the village of dinton was just lovely. the curries were nice too, my hubby loved the one the chef made. breakfast was decent and filled us up nicely.
the shower was scalding hot and not able to regulate. The room had a cracked window pane. overall, the place kinda felt dilapidated and definitely needs some work.

The food was a standout, particularly the grilled sandwiches, which were exceptionally well-prepared. check-in could have been smoother. it would have been helpful to directly inform us about breakfast arrangements rather than leaving it in the room’s book. The entrance area could use some tidying up to enhance the overall first impression. A continental breakfast option would also be a great addition, as currently, only a full English is available.

Great value for a quick stay! The room was tidy and had a big bathroom, just what I needed. The pub food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant—definitely better than my cooking!
But really, I only got to stay one night? How rude! And the outside needed a bit of a scrub—like me after a long weekend!

great potential, but needs improvement
The room was spacious with a separate bathroom, providing comfort during our stay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The local village of Dinton added charm with its picturesque views. The breakfast featured freshly cooked options that were outstanding and definitely a highlight!
The shower temperature regulation was an issue, making it unusable for my comfort.
